Technician - Stansted

We are looking for a qualified technician to join our team at Stansted Airport.

This is a varied position where you will play a crucial part in the success of the company by offering your expert mechanical knowledge in order to diagnose and repair aircraft service equipment, such as towing tractors, aircraft tugs, baggage elevators and a variety of specialist, unique vehicles. The suitable candidate will be mechanically skilled and a good problem solver in order to effectively repair and maintain on-site equipment.

The Job:

  • Diagnosing and repairing on-site airport ground service vehicles

  • Workshop and Airside based position, working on a wide variety of equipment

  • 4 days on / 4 days off roster  – shift time 06:00-18:00

The Person:

  • From a mechanical background, motor vehicle, HGV or plant

  • Previous experience working small or heavy plant equipment desirable

  • Able to obtain an airside pass which requires a criminal record check and 5 year history verification

  • A valid UK driving licence

  • IMI, City & Guilds, NVQ L2/3 certification in Light Vehicle/Commercial, HGV or Plant Service and Repair, or equivalent
