We have an exciting opportunity in TCR UK Limited at our prestigious site at London Luton.  We are looking are for a qualified Ground Support Equipment Technician (GSE) to come and join our team.


The technicians are required to service and repair equipment such as portable stairs, fuel and food trucks, towing tractors, aircraft tugs, man-lifts, forklifts, APU's and Company vehicles.


The Role 

This is a varied position where you will play a crucial part in the success of the company by offering your expert mechanical knowledge in order to diagnose and repair equipment, such as towing tractors, aircraft tugs, baggage elevators and a variety of specialist, unique vehicles. The suitable candidate will be mechanically skilled and a good problem solver in order to effectively maintain on site equipment. Undertake repairs and maintenance for TCR and associated vehicles to the required standard. Adhere to corporate Health and Safety guidelines, ISO 9001 framework and guidelines on vehicle maintenance.  


Essential Competencies

  • Experience in maintenance of heavy vehicles  

  • Able to work as part of a team 

  • Accurately complete and hand in manual daily time sheet after each day of shift and report any faults found 

  • Full Drivers Licence


Qualifications

  • Motor Mechanics – LGV (essential) 

  • LGV 2 (desirable)  

  • Forklift (desirable)
