Bring your passion for mechanics and driven attitude towards learning and upskilling as a Trade Assistant to assist on repairs and preventive maintenance of ground support equipment.
Global organization – Present in 30 countries
4 days on 4 days off shifts - 5 weeks (190 hours) of annual leave

As a Trade Assistant at TCR, you will:
Assist qualified mechanics to perform minor repairs and service of vehicles and equipment in a timely manner.
Perform basic welding tasks as needed, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Receive, stock, pickup and deliver spare parts.
Pack freight and assist on issuing freight deliveries.
Assist on general yard/workshop & equipment cleaning and maintenance.
Assist on store duties when required.
Perform other general, non-trades services as required.
Promote a safety-first approach.
Utilize the wide variety of equipment and the unique nature of aviation equipment as an opportunity for you to bring a wide collection of knowledge & skills to the role.
Work with multiple unique GSE specialized equipment.
Work with multiple unique GSE specialized equipment.
Have 5 weeks (190 hours) of annual leave + 2 additional "Health and Happiness" leave days per year.
Have excellent mentorship.
To be successful in this role, you will have most of the following skills and experience:
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn and develop.
High school certificate or equivalent education certificate; one to three months related experience and or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous mechanical experience - highly desirable.
Welding experience - highly regarded.
Hold a current national Manual “C” class driver’s license; and
Hold a current “MR” class driver’s license – desirable.
Forklift certificate – desirable.
A strong focus on safety standards and relevant company policies & procedures.
Good communication skills and proactiveness.
A natural curiosity and passion towards learning & upskilling.
A positive attitude and proactive mindset, with the ability to work autonomously as well as being a good team player.
→ Pre-employment police and medical checks are mandatory for this position.
